APOLLO BEACH, Fla.-- A police pursuit ended in a crash and arrests in Florida early Friday.
It all started in Manatee County around 4:30 when deputies say they spotted an SUV used in several early morning robberies.
In one of those robberies, the suspects strong-armed a clerk and stole thousands of dollars in cigarettes.
Authorities chased the vehicle for about 25 minutes.
The chase ended when the vehicle with the suspects drove over spike strips and spun out.
Four teens between the ages of 16 and 19 were taken into custody.
Police recovered a number of cases of cigarettes in the vehicle.
