Police responded to crash in Pembroke Pines that killed 90-year-old woman.
The incident occurred at 1800 North University Drive in Pembroke Pines around 3:42 p.m. Friday.
Kristal Millingen, 43, was driving a white 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage southbound on University Drive when 90-year-old Iliana Rosario crossed University Drive without using a crosswalk, police say.
According to police, Rosario walked into the path of the white Mitsubishi and was struck.
Rosario was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
This is an on-going investigation.
