Plane's emergency landing in Florida caught on camera

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one, the saying goes. And that was especially true for a pilot Wednesday in Central Florida.

The engine on a single-engine plane began sputtering near the Seminole State College Driving Track in Geneva.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office deputies were taking part in driving training at the time.

Instructors saw the low-flying plane and notified a sheriff's office Alert 1 helicopter which was assisting with the driver training.

The chopper, which recorded the event, tried to contact the plane's pilot but was unsuccessful.

Driving instructors ordered deputies to clear the track.

The plane made an emergency landing but didn't stop until it had crashed into a chain-link fence.

The sheriff's office said it came to rest just yards away from a building and several parked cars.

The pilot walked away without a scratch and no one on the ground was hurt.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
