POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a Florida passenger train.
The Sun Sentinel reports that the Virgin Trains USA passenger train hit the pedestrian Friday afternoon in Pompano Beach.
No additional information was immediately available.
The passenger train is part of the Virgin Trains USA fleet, which was recently rebranded by British billionaire Richard Branson from its previous incarnation as Brightline.
