ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Three Orlando teens are being honored for pulling a 6-year-old boy to safety after they spotted him at the bottom of a hotel swimming pool.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office recognized 17-year-old Stephen Borda, his 14-year-old brother Santino Borda and their 18-year-old friend Isaiah Caprice for bravery on Tuesday.

Santino Borda tells the Orlando Sentinel they pulled the boy from the pool on April 4 and screamed for help.

A doctor performed CPR and the child was taken to a hospital and survived.

Santino Borda says "it's a good feeling."

Capt. Mike Gibson described their actions as "live-saving."
