Neighbors of Elizabeth and Louis Caprio were shocked to see their neighbors' names listed in connection with an Amber Alert Friday morning.

4-year-old Dominic Caprio, who was missing for about 24 hours, is back with his mother. It's still unclear if his grandparents were involved in his disappearance.

Police have been in and out of the Miami neighborhood where Dominic's grandparents live. The location is where detectives believe the child's nanny was heading to after allegedly taking Dominic Thursday afternoon.

The Amber Alert said Dominic could be traveling with Elizabeth and Louis Caprio in a blue BMW. A car resembling the description in the alert has been parked in the couple's driveway and neighbors say they have not seen the couple recently.

Blaine Zuver heard when the Amber Alert blasted off his phone, he never expected it would involve his neighbors.

"I came over the fence over here and I saw a couple of officers hanging out, they had the driveway blocked off," said Zuver.

Zuver said the officers told him they were hoping to speak to the homeowner in the 4000 block of Park Avenue which is where the Caprios live. Fernando Munoz, another neighbor of the Caprios said he is skeptical about their alleged involvement.

"They're the nicest people, they're stable, they're nice, they've been caring for their grandchild so," said Munoz.

Munoz said he believes the Caprios have been taking care of Dominic. Neighbors recall a recent birthday party they hosted for his fourth birthday.

"He [Louis] came over and asked me, he said they are having a children's birthday party for his grandson and that there would be a lot of cars, could some of them park in the driveway and I said fine," added Zuver.

"There was a bounce house there, there were lots of people who attended," added Munoz.

It's still unclear where Elizabeth and Louis Caprio are. We reached out to the Department of Children and Families to learn if the department was involved in the Amber Alert. DCF said it is not and has no prior history of an investigation concerning Dominic Caprio.
