A photo of a statue of Martin Luther King, Jr. wearing a Donald Trump ‘Make America Great Again’ baseball cap is creating a bit of a controversy on a Florida college campus. The photo was taken at the University of South Florida in Tampa and posted to the ’Students4Trump’ account on Instagram last Monday.

The image appears to have originally been posted to Snapchat with the text overlay “MLK KNOWS #TRUMP2016." The post on Instagram, which simply says “pretty self explanatory," along with several pro-Trump hashtags, has now collected 2,500 likes and more than 1,000 comments.

Here’s just a sampling of those Instagram comments:

wiypipowild: this is so disrespectful

nia.wia: Honestly? How low can you get? Martin Luther King is probably rolling over in His grave ??

blk.smth: You do realize MLK would denounce everything Trump is for if he were alive today?

aedan._.a: Wow just wow. I'm at a loss for words due to the ignorance of some people. That's just terrible.

anakingrownup: the definition of disrespect and American idiocy ? like mlk Jr. would ever in one million years approve of anything that old devil known as trump says ?
