(WKMG/CNN) - A father and daughter from Orlando say they were kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight and are demanding to know why.

Cellphone video shows Eric Miller, 70, and his daughter Whitney Miller, 25, clearly irate after they were kicked off a recent flight to .

The duo was yelling while passengers were clapping.

The Millers said they still don't know why they had to leave the plane.

"(The flight attendant said, ‘Do you have a problem? Do you want to be removed from the aircraft? ‘We responded, ‘No.’ We didn't understand what was going on,” said Whitney Miller.

The father and daughter admit they were already upset after an eight-hour delay, complaining to each other when they say flight attendants got in their face.

"They would lean over the back of the chair in front of us, get their face right up to here, and they would simply ask, 'Do we have a problem?'" said Eric Miller.

Frontier Airlines released the following statement to WKMG-TV in Orlando.

"The behaviors and comments exhibited by these passengers prior to departure were inappropriate; and as a result they were asked to leave our aircraft."'

They say the father and daughter were cursing, disrespectful and deemed a threat.

The passenger who recorded the video said she had never met the Millers and they are strangers to her. She said she did not hear them say anything offensive and the flight attendant was eavesdropping into their private conversation. She also said the clapping in the video was prompted by other passengers supporting what Eric Miller was heard saying to the flight crew while being escorted off, showing support for the family.

The two passengers ended up receiving a refund for the flight.

"You can't just treat people like that and get away with it," said Whitney Miller.
