A Tampa Bay-area woman is in jail after police say she gave birth to a child at her home while smoking crack-cocaine.
Arrest records show 24-year-old Katrina Kegelman of Clearwater, Fla., now faces a child neglect charge.
The report shows she gave birth to the child on Sunday on a back patio and originally thought the baby was stillborn, prompting her to throw the baby into some bushes near her home.
Officials say the baby survived and is now at a hospital.
Kegelman was also taken to a hospital after giving birth and was arrested Wednesday after admitting to the incident.
Records show she bonded out of jail early Thursday morning.
