LAKELAND, Fla-- Authorities in a Florida community are reminding drivers to stay alert while traveling through intersections.
Red light runners are such a problem in Lakeland the police department has released a compilation of near misses caught on camera as a reminder to drivers about the dangers of running a red light.
A total of 18 cameras have been installed at 11 intersections throughout the city.
The Boynton Beach Police Department has also pointed out on social media the dangers of distracted driving. It reminds drivers to: slow down, put away cellphones, and pay attention.
