HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla.-- Recently, students at Florida College got an email about a case of measles. Health officials say a student who traveled to South America came down with the virus.

Now all students have to provide proof of having a measles vaccinations to be on campus. Without proof, students either have to go home with family or stay inside their dorm rooms.

Students confined to their dorm rooms are delivered four meals a day, a nurse comes by daily and dorm parents make sure they do their school work.

"We've been recording classes so that our fellow students can catch up on their schoolwork, so they have done everything to make sure both everybody's safe and everybody has the things that they need," said student Jarrett Ferguson.

The college plans to isolate students until February 5.
