A Florida high school baseball team has won the right to the name their coach's unborn child.
It all started when Heritage High School coach Rob Querry of Palm Bay challenged his team to win at least 14 games this season.
If it did, the coach and his wife agreed to let team members name their baby.
On Tuesday, the team won the game to assure the first winning baseball season in heritage's seven-year history.
With the win, the team named coach Querry's child Benjaman Smalls.
If the name sounds familiar it’s because the team combined the names of two characters in the 1993 baseball classic “The Sandlot” that are named Bennie "The Jet" and Scotty Smalls.
Mom says while she is not 100 percent sold on the name, she says there is one advantage to it.
When the child asks about the history of his name, she just plans to tell him to Google it.
