Florida has confirmed its first sexually-transmitted case of Zika virus.
According the state, the person-to-person transmission occurred in Polk County.
The first known sexual transmission of Zika was reported in Dallas in February.
As of Wednesday, Florida had 52 total cases of Zika virus. Four of the cases involved pregnant women.
Only three people out of the Florida cases are still showing symptoms.
There are no known Zika cases in Palm Beach County or the Treasure Coast.
