MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Local firefighters showed their support to fellow firefighters fighting cancer on Sunday.
The Firefighter Cancer Challenge 5K took place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Firefighters from all over South Florida, including many from Palm Beach County, took part in the 5K race dressed out in their firefighter gear.
The event was held to raise awareness, increase prevention and help with cancer research.
