Florida Highway Patrol troopers are watching drivers extra closely this week, making sure you stay safe on the road.
FHP is ticketing aggressive driving around large trucks and reducing commercial vehicle-related wrecks.
The goal is to reduce the number of crashes between cars and big rigs.
Troopers will be specifically looking for drivers who are following too closely, speeding or making dangerous lane changes.
To stay safe, troopers suggest you only change lanes when you can see both of a truck's headlights in your rearview mirror, stay out of a truck's blind spots and don't follow too closely.
This aggressive driver campaign runs until next Oct. 20 across Florida.
