North Florida prosecutors have charged Alachua County Sheriff's Deputy Russell Johnson with false imprisonment.
The Gainesville Sun reports that according to police, 46-year-old Deputy Russell Johnson handcuffed his girlfriend and restrained her legs in shackles during a Nov. 7 argument. Johnson was placed on administrative leave after a sworn complaint was filed several days later.
