MIAMI (AP) — The boyfriend of a South Florida real estate executive who was found dead from an overdose has been arrested on charges of grand theft and organized fraud.

The Miami Herald reports 60-year-old Alejandro Aparicio's arrest Friday came 18 months after he told investigators he found Andrea Greenburg unresponsive on the couch. A toxicology report blamed her death on fentanyl.

Prosecutors contend Aparicio submitted a doctored will signed by Greenburg and two witnesses that left him as sole executor of the $600,000 estate.

Records show Aparicio submitted the will in court 10 days after Greenburg's death. Her family plans to ask a judge April 3 to deny Aparicio's claims to Greenburg's property. So far he's ignored repeated court orders to replace $547,000 withdrawn from her accounts.

He was released on bond.
