First responders from Sarasota County Emergency Services conducted a high-angle rescue in the 600 block of Palm Avenue in Sarasota Monday.
Sarasota Police directed traffic while crews freed a worker stuck on a scaffolding.
He became stuck after his scaffolding malfunctioned, according to the Sarasota County Fire Chief.
Sarasota County Emergency Services said the person was not injured and was tied onto safety lines. They were able to bring him down safely.

One motor for the scaffolding would not shut off and continued to raise one side up causing the scaffolding to be uneven.
