CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.-- A Florida officer is in the hospital after falling off a building at a training facility.
It happened Wednesday morning at the Coral Springs Fire Academy.
That's where officials say a SWAT officer was in the middle of an exercise when he fell from a building.
Police said the officer was alert and conscious just before leaving.
He was immediately airlifted to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.
A CSPD Officer was injured in a training exercise this morning. At this time he is in stable condition and the injuries are not life-threatening. Thank you for your support. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his loved ones, and the medical professionals providing his care.
