Drivers in one Deerfield Beach neighborhood faced a detour after a vehicle struck a fire hydrant Tuesday morning, creating quite a mess.
It happened near Southwest 10th Street and Natura Boulevard, where the car struck the hydrant near a gas station and created a flood of water at the intersection.
Officials have not released any information on possible injuries to anyone inside the car, but traffic was sent around the scene as workers cleaned the area. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
