COCONUT CREEK, Fla. — A helicopter crashed Thursday afternoon at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek.
The aircraft went down in a heavily wooded area of the park, which is located in the 3600 block of West Sample Road.
Multiple emergency crews responded to the scene.
According to Miami NBC affiliate WTVJ NBC 6, a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rescue helicopter crew hoisted someone out of the wreckage area.
No other details have been released.
