Broward Sheriff's deputy injured in police-involved shooting

A Broward Sheriff's deputy was injured in a police-involved shooting in Fort Lauderdale Wednesday.
The incident happened in the 1900 block of Commercial Boulevard, BSO officials said.

The deputy was taken to an area hospital. A suspect was also injured and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center.

No other information was immediately known.
