CLEWISTON, Fla. -- Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) received a report at approximately 9:20 this morning from a fisherman who said he observed a body in Lake Okeechobee in the Clewiston area, on the south side of the lake.
Officers responded and recovered the body of a deceased male.
The body was recovered approximately 15 miles from where the airboat was recovered, and approximately 3.5 miles from the female that was recovered on Saturday.
FWC says the victim has been turned over to the Lee County Medical Examiner's office for verification of identity and cause of death.
