Hialeah Police are investigating the death of a baby after she was left inside a vehicle Monday.
It happened around 4:10 p.m. in the 3500 block of West 86th Terrace.
Police said the 11-month-old girl had been left inside her parents' parked vehicle with the engine turned off.
The baby was transported to Palmetto General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after.
Investigators said it's unknown how long the baby was left unattended, but they said it was possibly a few hours.
