MIAMI-- Crew members aboard an American Airlines flight were evaluated Monday morning after reporting a mysterious odor from the plane's cockpit.
American airlines says the flight was en route from Miami to Newark, New Jersey, when it returned to South Florida due to the odor.
At least two pilots and three flight attendants requested medical attention, with one of the flight attendants taken to the hospital as a precaution.
American airlines says none of the 149 passengers on board requested medical attention.
The cause of the odor is unknown.
American says it would move the passengers to a new aircraft.
