Whether you are sipping from a fifth over the 4th, or enjoying a beer, wine or cocktail of your choice, remember there's no excuse to drink and drive over the Independence Day weekend.

If you do become over served, a AAA tow truck will transport you and your vehicle free to a safe location within a 10 mile radius.

"A record breaking 2.3 million Floridians will hit the road for Independence Day, but some may not make it home safely if they drive impaired," said AAA - The Auto Club Group spokesman Mark Jenkins in a statement. "If your celebration includes alcohol, be sure to designate a sober driver before the party starts. If you do not have one, call AAA, and we will provide a safe and confidential ride for both you and your vehicle."

AAA says you do not have to be a member to use the service.

In Florida the AAA and Budweiser Tow to Go services are available from Wednesday, July 3 - Friday, July 5 at 6 a.m.
