Officials say that 33 children and three adults have been transported to area hospitals after falling ill at a summer camp in Central Florida.

Highlands County Fire Rescue and EMS responded to Camp Cloverleaf 4-H in Lake Placid, Fla., around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Some of those affected had headaches and were vomiting. At least one child passed out.

Highlands County Fire and Rescue officials say that none of the illnesses appear to be serious at this time.

Fire officials say that children from Palm Beach, Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota, Broward and Miami Dade Counties are attending the camp.

It's unclear how everyone got sick. The situation is still being investigated.
