DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — A 5-year-old girl has died a day after she was in a car crash on Interstate 95 that also killed her 2-year-old sister, her family said. According to NBC 6, in a Facebook post Monday night, Annette Bennet said her daughter, Keanna, "fought a good fight this past 24 hours. She gain her precious little wings ... Thanks for all your prayers but it is DONE."

The crash occurred at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on I-95 southbound near the Sample Road exit, closing all lanes for multiple hours.

Officials said neither children were wearing any restraint devices.
