2 die in fiery crash on I-95 in Miami

MIAMI, Fla. -- Two people died in a crash early Sunday morning on I-95 in Miami.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a blue Chevrolet SUV was traveling northbound in the third lane of traffic near NW 95 St at approximately 3 a.m.

A blue BMW sedan was traveling northbound in the second lane of traffic in the same area.

The Chevy SUV changed lanes into the path of the BMW. The front of the BMW collided into the left side of the Chevy.

As a result, the Chevy overturned onto its roof and became fully engulfed in flames.

The driver of the Chevy (an adult male) and his passenger (an adult female) became entrapped in the vehicle as it caught on fire.

Both occupants died at the scene inside the vehicle.

The driver of the BMW was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown.
