MIAMI (AP) — Authorities say a 19-year-old man made threats against a South Florida high school.
The Miami Herald reports that Kenly Serge Dorvil was arrested Monday and charged with a felony count of written threat to kill or do bodily harm.
Police say they found an Instagram post Sunday night with Dorvil threatening to put William H. Turner Technical Arts High School students in caskets.
School officials say Dorvil is not a student at the school. It's unclear whether he has a lawyer.
The @MDSPD has made an arrest of a non @MDCPS student based on the social media threat regarding @TurnerTechHS - as a reminder, we DO NOT take any threat lightly, especially those made via social media - Thank you @MiamiDadePD for assisting us with police presence at school
