DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say 11 people were injured when a stolen van collided with a transit bus in Florida.

Daytona Beach Fire Department spokeswoman Sasha Staton said in a news release that a pregnant woman and a child were among those injured in the Tuesday morning crash.

Staton says the injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Orlando television stations are reporting that the bus hit a passenger who bailed from the stolen van just before the crash. The driver also ran after the crash but a witness held him down until police arrived and took him into custody.

An investigation continues.
