(NBC NEWSCHANNEL)-- A new survey finds Americans are spending more and more time on social media but they're also becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the experience.
According to the annual e-business report from the American Consumer Satisfaction Index released this week, social sites such as Facebook and Twitter saw a decrease in satisfaction year over year.
Facebook scored 68% percent, down 9% from last year. While Twitter scored 65%, down 8% from 2015.
Those big drops dragged down the social media category which overall scored 73% in satisfaction.
