Three tractor-trailers and a sport-utility vehicle were involved in a crash in western Palm Beach County on Wednesday morning.
Around 6 a.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the incident near the 8000 block of South U.S. Highway 27 in South Bay, Fla.
First-arriving crews reported that three tractor-trailers and an sport-utility vehicle were involved in the wreck. One of the tractor-trailers went into a canal.
PBCFR Capt. David Toohey said four patients were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
At 7 a.m., U.S. 27 northbound is closed at the corner of Okeelanta in the Glades area. Southbound drivers should also expect delays.
