A Treasure Coast teen was injured in a fireworks mishap Wednesday, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.
It happened in the 3500 block of SW Conibear Street around 3:15 p.m.
The male teen was flown to a trauma center for treatment.
The victim suffered a serious hand injury and is in stable condition, the St. Lucie County Fire District said.
