FORT PIERCE, Fla. — St. Lucie County public schools are joining Martin County in closing ahead of Tropical Storm Eta.
Out of an "abundance of caution," St. Lucie Public Schools and district offices will be closed Monday, the district announced Sunday.
The cancellation applies to both traditional in-school classes and MySchool Online learning.
The Martin County School District announced earlier Sunday that all classes would be canceled Monday.
