St. Lucie County residents, the Kennedy family, enjoyed lunch at the airport restaurant Friday and talked about a very important visitor who will be here in just a few hours. Kuilani Kennedy said, "It's exciting that he is coming here."

Kuilani says this is a great way to show off her hometown.

"I think it's a good opportunity to have President Obama coming to show this beautiful city, even though it's a small city, it has a lot to offer," she said.

Air Force One brought President Obama from Miami to the Treasure Coast International Airport and Business Park, landing just after 9p.m. The President will spend the weekend in Palm City and Golf at the Floridian National Golf Club.

Kuilani said, "I wish he would take me golfing with him."

Today the preparations included the Secret Service securing the airport.

Tiffany Donaldson, a waitress at the restaurant, remembers the excitement when President Obama visited last year.

"It was pretty exciting, actually there were people everywhere it was exciting seeing the secret service agents walking around," she says.

The President's visit is giving everyone around here something to talk about.

"It's getting exciting, because everybody is asking questions," Tiffany said.

Chris Hambleton with APP Jet Center said they are ready for the presidential visit, "It's our second time with this, it's very efficient, run very efficiently. We are honored that once again the White House chose this airport to be the arrival and departure."
