PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — One person is injured after a vehicle hit a tree and exploded in Port St. Lucie Tuesday afternoon, according to St. Lucie County Fire Rescue.
The crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 95 at MM 115.
Officials said the patient, an adult male, was transported to a local trauma center.
Port St. Lucie Police Department also responded to the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
