Port St. Lucie police are trying to find a man who they say duped a bank teller out of money.

During the noon hour on August 30, the man entered the Seacoast Bank at 1790 SW Gatlin Boulevard.

Police said he began exchanging twenties for tens, then twenties for hundred dollar bills in a quick-change scam. After he left, the teller discovered she was short $300.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man with a stocky build and facial hair. He was wearing a white or light-colored long sleeve shirt and light-colored pants.

If you recognize him you are asked to call Detective Paul Griffith at 772.871.7301 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 800-273.TIPS.
