Port St. Lucie police: Missing 11-year-old runaway boy found safe

UPDATE: Port St. Lucie police say a boy who was reported missing on Friday has been found safe.

Port St. Lucie Police Chief Bolduc was flagged down by a citizen who saw 11-year-old Gabriel Clitt walking by Lyngate Park.

Chief Bolduc found the boy hiding behind a palm tree and gave him his jacket.

Port St. Lucie police are searching for a missing 11-year-old runaway boy. 

Gabriel Matthew Clitt ran away from his residence in the 1700 block of SE Burgandy Lane at around 8 p.m. Friday. 

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Air Unit and bloodhounds are also helping in the search.
