Port St. Lucie say seven cars were broken into early Saturday morning and one vehicle was stolen.
Officers said items were taken out of those cars and in each instance the doors were unlocked.
Police said the thieves were able to find the keys to the car that was stolen.
One neighbor was able to capture surveillance footage of the suspects peeking into their cars.
Scott Price said he is very unhappy about the rash of break-ins and hopes whoever did this is arrested soon.
"Well I'm upset because it's a really nice neighborhood. Never had any problems here and you can look around and tell it's a really nice neighborhood and obviously these people aren't from around here and decided to hit a nice neighborhood," said Price.
Police said these break-ins are similar to another incident last week when a truck was stolen.
