Police: Cars shot at with BB/pellet guns in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Port St. Lucie police are investigating several cases of vandalism in which car windows were shot out by BB or pellet guns.

Police said there were six incidents between March 11 and 13, with at least three of them involving those weapons.

Several cars had their rear windows shattered, and one vehicle had damage to a door and quarter panel.

The crimes happened at these locations:

  • 1300 block of SW Kapok Avenue, March 11 between 8:30 p.m. - 11:39 p.m.
  • 4200 block of SW Kazan Street, March 11 at 9:41 p.m.
  • 3200 block of SW Fillmore Street, March 11 at 11:30 p.m.
  • 100 block of SE Village Drive, March 11 - March 12 between 10:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
  • 2100 block of SE Hillmoor Drive, March 11 - March 12 between 9:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
  • 2100 block of SE Glen Ridge Drive, March 13 between 12:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Police say there are no suspects at this time, but they are actively working on some leads.
