A new tool is coming to Port St. Lucie to help residents and officers during dangerous situations.
The city awarded a federal grant to purchase a new tactical robot.
The robot will allow police to remotely move around buildings and doors.
Police can also talk with a barricaded suspect without exposing officers to unnecessary danger.
