A Jupiter man was killed Saturday evening after loosing control of his scooter and crashing on a dirt road, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. along Winterhawk Trail in Jupiter Farms.
Officials say 59-year-old Paul Paolini was ejected from his Vespa scooter after driving into a furrow.
Paolini was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center where he died two hours later.
According to a crash report, police do not suspect that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
