A lawn maintenance worker was struck by a vehicle while using a leaf blower in Port St. Lucie Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3 p,m. on Gatlin Boulevard.
Officials say the female worker was using a leaf blower on the westbound when she was struck by a brown Toyota driven by a male.
The patient was taken via Trauma Alert to Longwood Regional Medical Center.
The victim and the driver have not yet been identified.
