The Florida Highway Patrol says a 76-year-old man died in a crash as he was walking along I-95 early Friday.
Ranold F. Hylton of Port St. Lucie was walking on the shoulder of I-95 near the Gatlin Boulevard exit at 5:56 a.m. Friday.
FHP says Hylton attempted to cross the southbound I-95 travel lanes from the west to the east, when he was struck by a vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
