People living near the new Crosstown Parkway in Port St. Lucie are under a precautionary boil water notice.
Tuesday night many got notices about work on a water main.
As a result, the water was turned off Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and will be turned on at 1:30 p.m.
Once the water is back on, the city is urging people to boil water used for cooking or drinking.
The advisory is in effect for the next 48 hours for customers who received notices.
