FORT PIERCE, Fla.- It’s been nearly a week since an arsonist struck the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce.

This morning, some members of the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce gathered for services at another mosque, Muslim Friends of Florida in Fort Pierce.

The first service was at 6:15 a.m.

Members encourage people to learn from those who pray at area mosques what Islam is about. It’s a peaceful religion.

Throughout the week, people have stopped by the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce showing support and kindness.

The next service at Muslim Friends of Florida will be at 2:30 p.m.
