FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- No criminal charges are warranted against the Fort Pierce Police Chief.

That's was the word from the Treasure Coast State Attorney Tuesday night.

Chief Diane Hobley-Burney was put on paid leave last week after an investigation into complaints filed by a former police Special Investigator.

Though the State Attorney says his investigation into the matter is over, city leaders continue to look into the allegations.
