A Fort Pierce teen, accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her mother, will be tried as an adult.
Jacob Looney will remain in jail until trial a judge ruled Thursday.
At a court hearing there was emotional testimony from victims Arielle Prieto and her mother Janice.
Both recalled the horrifying early morning hours in August when they say Arielle's ex-boyfriend Jacob Looney broke into their house and stabbed them both multiple times.
Arielle nearly died.
Looney, who was 17 at the time, is being charged an adult.
A trial date has not been set.
