Fort Pierce store robbed at gunpoint, police searching for 2 suspects

FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Police are searching for two armed robbers in Fort Pierce.

On Monday morning, two men entered the One Stop Shopping store at 2501 Ave. P armed with guns and demanded money.

One robber jumped over the counter. As one thief took an undisclosed amount of money, the other took an unknown amount of cigarettes.

Both men fled the scene on foot headed toward Avenue O.

One robber is described as a black man, about 5 feet 7 inches and weighing between 200 and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark colored shorts, a dark hoodie, hospital mask, and black and gray shoes. He also had a white bandana in the right back pocket of his shorts.

The other thief is described as a black man approximately 5 feet 10 inches and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweat shirt, dark jeans, Spider-Man backpack and black and white shoes.
